How to disconnect MetaMask from Stabull DEX and remove my spending cap?
If you would like to disconnect MetaMask from the Stabull DEX completely, such as after your have completed all of the swaps you wanted to do in a session, this article will outline the different steps required to do so.
- Open MetaMask
- Select your wallet address and switch to the relevant blockchain
- Expand the settings (3 dots)
- Choose Connected Sites
- Beside app.stabull.finance, click disconnect
- In the next screen, click disconnect again.
- You may also want to revoke any spending caps you have granted as part of your trading. To do this, visit the Spending Caps screen on Metamask Portfolio.
- Find the spending cap you granted to Stabull, and click Revoke. This will trigger metamask.
- Set your gas fee to cover this minor charge, and click approve.
- Wait a short while for the transaction to be broadcast and confirmed. After a short while, the spending cap will disappear.
You can reconnect your wallet to Stabull DEX at any time, as well as set a new spending cap any time you wish to make a swap or provide liquidity. You will be prompted for this within MetaMask if there has been a change in your balance for a particular asset.
