How do I show USDC in MetaMask?
Once you have completed a swap on the Stabull DEX, and this has been confirmed by the blockchain, your wallet address will hold the cryptocurrency, but you wallet may not display it. Don’t panic, as following these steps can quickly resolve this issue.
- Open relevant block explorer (ie Etherscan/Polygonscan) and enter your wallet address.
- Select your tokens list, and you will see the transactions and your balance for the corresponding stablecoin.
- This shows you that you control the stablecoin in question with your private keys.
Adding USDC display to your crypto wallet.
As one of the world’s most popular stablecoins, USDC is largely supported by default by all major crypto wallets. However, if your wallet doesn’t, you can reveal it by following these steps (using Metamask as an example).
- Open your wallet
- Select the relevant blockchain
- Click import token
- Click add custom token
- Add the smart contract address for USDC to this, which is 0xA0b86991c6218b36c1d19D4a2e9Eb0cE3606eB48 on Ethereum or 0x3c499c542cEF5E3811e1192ce70d8cC03d5c3359 on Polygon
- Add in the ticker, which is USDC
- Click import
You will now be able to view your balance and transactions within your wallet. You can always also check your balance by using a block explorer such as Polygonscan or Etherscan.
